The cabinet food all looked delicious, date scone, lemon tart, I decided on the chocolate raspberry tart which did not disappoint. The coffee was tasty and service friendly and attentive even at a busy time on a Saturday afternoon. There was even an inviting rug with a basket of toys laid out for any little visitors to the cafe., and the free Wi-Fi was a bonus.
I love the 1920's art deco architecture of the arcade with the beautiful paneled windows and skylight, to the marble and iron lamps that stand either side of the stairway down to the park. There is a great view back to the city over the scenic Myers Park. The large palm tree's and miss matched vintage chairs really give the space a heart and soul that the food and people of the cafe also provide.
